Our story begins with deep roots in craftsmanship and service, tracing back to Jose Luis Interiors Corporation, founded in 1983. It was there that Mr. Jose Milanes, Co-Founder, began a lifelong journey enhancing residential and commercial spaces through decorative residential treatments—including curtains, blinds, carpeting, flooring, and customized interior solutions. For more than two decades, his unwavering dedication to quality, detail, and customer satisfaction shaped countless homes and businesses from the early 1980s through the late 90s, laying a foundation of trust, discipline, and pride in workmanship that would later evolve into something even greater.

 

After a decade, that foundation was passed on, expanded, and transformed by Mrs. Paula Mora, his wife.

In 2017, inspired by both legacy and necessity, Mrs, Paula Mora launched Hurricane Protect Solutions, with a new mission: to protect families, homes, and livelihoods against the increasing threats of extreme weather after experiencing the strength of Hurricane Irma. Officially registered on April 30, 2019, the company began serving the Homestead, Florida community with certified hurricane protection products designed to provide not only structural defense, but peace of mind during weather emergencies.

As the business grew, so did the vision — one shaped by female leadership, resilience, and an instinctive understanding of what families truly need to feel safe at home.

On July 27, 2023, our family proudly rebranded as Hurricane Protection Solutions & Blinds, marking a pivotal milestone. This transformation reflected our evolution, seamlessly integrating exterior hurricane protection with interior window solutions. That same year, we expanded our service coverage throughout Central Florida, bringing our expertise to a broader and more diverse community.

 

Now located at 100 E Pine St, Suite 110, Orlando, Fl 32801, for any customer that wants to reach us personally to discuss any project.​

Today, we proudly serve families and businesses across Central and South Florida with tailored, thoughtful solutions, with mainly in site quotations at no cost — from securing balconies and coastal homes to protecting high-rise buildings and simplifying everyday living with functional, elegant window treatments.
